Frechman Flourent Malouda is set to hang up his boots this coming season after he ended his deal with Egyptian club Wadi Degla FC.
The former Chelsea player who turned 36 in June this year has played in five different countries since starting his football career professionally in 1996. He started his career at LB Chateauroux after going through their youth team. He moved to Guingamp in 2000 before joining Olympique Lyon.

Malouda ended his loan spell at Egpytian Premier League side – Wadi Degla, returning to Indian club Delhi Dynamos. The club made the announcement on their official Facebook page. In 16 matches, Malouda scored three goals and got an assist during his time at the club. Degla finished in fifth place, garnering 54 points, but finishing 21 points behind the League winners Ahly. The player joined on a six months deal in January 2016 but would continue with his parent club Delhi Dynamos in the coming season.
Malouda’s career highlight was when he won premier league title with his former club Chelsea FC. He joined Chelsea in 2007 where he spent six years, wining the UEFA Champions League in 2012, and three FA Cup titles. His career started excellently as he won four league titles during his stint with French giant Lyon from 2003 to 2007 before he joined the English club. he tried reviving his career at Trabzonspor in Turkey, then spent a year with French club FC Metz before he moved to Asia to continue playing the game.
The player might is set to end his career after thus year with the Indian side, according to rumours. The former France international enjoyed a decent level of success overall in his playing career and might retire back to France, even though he has not said anything about his future yet.
