The Chelsea management is desperate to sell Florent Malouda during the mid season transfer window, but, there has not been a single club which has enquired about the French midfielder so far. A few days ago, there were reports that the Brazilian club, Santos, is interested in Malouda, but, those reports didn’t turn out to be the true ones.
The Chelsea management has already made it clear that Malouda is not in the plans of the club for the future and he is not even training with the senior team of Chelsea. The 32 years old is currently practicing with the youth squad of Chelsea.
The Chelsea management is even thinking of selling Malouda for nothing in order to get rid of his high weekly wages, but, the problem is that no club is interested in buying him.

Malouda had signed for Chelsea five years back in July 2007. The transfer fee paid by Chelsea for buying him was rumoured to be around 13 million Pounds. Malouda has featured for the Blues in 149 matches so far and has scored 35 goals.
Actually, quite a few clubs were interested in signing Malouda during the pre season transfer window, but, they were not offering him as much money as Malouda is being paid by Chelsea. So, Malouda rejected all those offers and decided to stay with Chelsea till the completion of his contract.
A Chelsea insider told the reporters, “It has become a strange situation now. He doesn’t want to be with the club anymore and the club also wants the same, but, the club is not receiving enquiries about him.”
“The management would even consider selling him at a very low transfer fee.”
Malouda’s contract with Chelsea is going to expire at the end of this season.
