A Champions League winner with Chelsea back in 2012, Malouda joined Delhi Dynamos. The club reached the semi-final of the Indian Super League and this was largely down to the presence of players like Malouda. The team also had names like former Brazil fullback Roberto Carlos and Liverpool defender John Arne Riise. Delhi Dynamos have just made it to the United Kingdom in order to undergo pre-season. They will be playing in a closed doors friendly against Kidderminster Harriers before playing against West Brom XI. The latter will be a charity game set to take place during the international break at the hawthorns.
Delhi Dynamos are managed byGianlucaZambrotta, who is a World Cup winner, and the team will attend the game between Middlesbrough and West Brom later in the season. Last season, the French international came up with eight assists as he helped the team reached the semifinals. Even though his career has gone down significantly in the last couple of years, Malouda still has a lot of quality to offer. He was Chelsea’s players’ Player of the Year only in 2010.
